Built to Matter is an invitation-based evening series in Calgary, founded by NimblShift, Dr. Laura and Wright Step. This page explains what we do with the details you give us, and the terms that apply to our forms and tickets.
Privacy
What we collect
When you fill in one of our forms or buy a ticket, we collect your name, your email address, your organization if you give it, what you would like to hear about, and the details needed to process your ticket. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Why we collect it
- To tell you when seats open for future Built to Matter evenings, if you ask us to.
- To reply if you ask about supporting the series as a sponsor.
- To manage your ticket, send your confirmation and reminder, and greet you by name at the door.
Who sees it
Your details are held in the GoHighLevel account run by Wright Step on behalf of the series. They are shared with the three founders, NimblShift, Dr. Laura and Wright Step, only so we can run Built to Matter. We do not sell your information, and we do not give attendee lists or contact details to sponsors.
Photos and video
A photographer may capture photos and short video clips at our evenings. If you would rather not appear, let us know at the door and we will make sure you are left out.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while the series is running, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them, whichever comes first.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing karas@wrightstepcoaching.com.
Terms
Our forms
By submitting a form, you confirm the details are yours and that you are happy for us to contact you about what you asked for. Ticking the consent box means we may email you about future evenings until you unsubscribe.
Tickets
- You can get a full refund up to 7 days before the evening. After that, tickets are not refundable.
- Tickets are non-transferable. Each seat is held for the person it was issued to.
- If we move or cancel an evening, your ticket carries over to the new date.
- Seats are held for business owners and senior leaders, and the founders may decline or refund a registration that does not fit the room.
